The Auxiliary has been a part of my life for 13 years. The word
I feel exemplifies this great organization is "Love".
This feeling is always present when we meet together. We show
support by lending a listening ear, showing support by financial means
to those in a crisis, or supporting our spouses in all areas of their law
enforcement careers.
I am so proud to be numbered among those dedicated women who
served as Auxiliary Presidents.
I cherish each memory as president because it gave me the opportunity
to serve the women who want their spouses to feel successful in their chosen
career.
My most cherished memory is the day we decorated the "mice"
tree for the Festival of Trees. The love and support I felt from the Auxiliary
members, as well as their law enforcement spouses is unforgettable.
Yes, the word I think of first when my thoughts go toward the
Auxiliary is "love".
