UPOA History Wall at POST

The UPOA is pleased to announce that we are in the process of creating a law enforcement History Wall at POST. We would like every law enforcement agency in Utah, past and present, to be represented on this wall. The wall is located in the east hallway of the main floor at POST. It will be clearly identified by a large plaque similar the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial’s (ULEM) “Honor Wall” on the other side of the lobby.
Thanks to ULEM, we already have over 20 framed pictures to place for the wall. The pictures we have are big, small, long, tall, and wide. They are of interesting moments, prominent members, entire agency portraits, etc.
If you wish to be included, we ask that you send us a framed picture, 11x13 or larger, in a black frame, grey matting, with asilver or grey name tag briefly identifying the photo and dating it. You also will need to include a letter that states that you are donating it to the UPOA and that you understand that it will become property of the UPOA.
The UPOA is in the process of writing bi-laws and setting up a Hall of History Board of Directors. If you are interested in participating on the board or know someone who is, please contact the UPOA. In the meantime, find those photos. Don’t be afraid to send us more than one.

The UPOA History Wall will be dedicated during Law Enforcement Week in May 2011. Date and Time TBA.
