- Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Randy K. Ingram,
39, died at the wheel of his patrol car on Oct. 5, 1994. Ingram was stopped
in the emergency lane of Interstate 15 near Nephi (memorial in honor of Randy, surrounded by his family and friends) when his patrol
car was struck from behind by a semitrailer truck. The driver of the truck
later pled guilty to negligent homicide.
