Shooting Competition in Utah

The schedule for the next three shoots. Please read below if you need the course of fire or need to make arrangements for a gun. Please give a week notice if you are in need of ammo and guns.

March 15, 2008 in Delta
(providing weather conditions are good) Please check this web site or email Audrey Caudill for updated information on this shoot. Practice will begin March 14 for those who want to participate. You may bring your campers, tents, etc. and stay on the range.

Competition shoot will begin March 15th.
0800-registration (cost $20.00)
0900-Competition starts.
Course of fire- Two 1500 shoots.


April 12, 2008 in Cedar City
Practice will begin April 11th for those who want to participate. You may bring your campers, tents, etc. and stay on the range.

Competition shoot will begin April 12th.

0900-Competition starts.
Course of fire- Two 1500 shoots.


May 10, 2008 in Delta
Practice will begin May 9th for those who want to participate. You may bring your campers, tents, etc. and stay on the range.

Competition shoot will begin May 10th.

Course of fire- Two 1500 shoots.

June 7, 2008 in Brigham City (Pre Convention)
0800-registration (cost $20.00)
0900-Competition starts.
Course of fire- Two 1500 shoots.


New Shooters---those wanting to competition shoot who don't have supplies (guns, ammo, etc.) may email Audrey Caudill at audreycaudill@utah.gov . New shooters will be sponsered by a seasoned Officer. The seasoned Officer will help with questions, course of fire, what you will need, etc.

You must be a member of the UPOA to compete and have your score count toward the Governer's 20. Cost to join the UPOA is $30.00 a year.
