Survivors Guide & Legal Plan

A guide to in the Line of Duty Benefits for Utah Law Enforcement Professionals and Their Families Sponsored By Durham Jones & Pinegar.

When tragedy strikes and a Utah peace officer lays down his or her life in the line of duty, there are a myriad of unanswered questions facing the employing agency and the officer’s family.
This publication was produced to assist law enforcement agencies and associations in their efforts to deal with the loss of one of their own by providing guidelines of benefits available for the surviving families of our fallen heroes. It is our hope that this guide will be of assistance to those involved in helping the families navigate through this most difficult time. It is our fervent prayer, however, that it is utilized in ever decreasing numbers.

Sincerely,
Rick Mayo
